Manufactured Sand, most commonly M-Sand, could be termed as rock crushed to grain size distribution. In order to arrive at the grain size distribution, the coarser stone aggregates are crushed in a special rock crusher and the crushed material is washed to remove fines. The crushed sand is of cubical nature with grounded edges, washed and graded to as a construction material. The size of manufactured sand is less than 4.75 mm.
